MEMBERSHIPS CARDS 22/23
Our new club membership cards, for the 22/23 season are now available to collection from the admin or your patrol captains. The front of the cards feature a photo from Tim Elwin from Urban Ripples and club sponsors Wharf Bar Manly Beach and GJ Gardner branding on the back.
The membership card gets you various discounts from numerous businesses and a list can be found on the MLSC Website
The most generous discount is from the Wharf Bar Manly Beach which gets you 20% off food and drink purchases upon presentation of the card. The 21/22 membership card will only be valid until the 31st December, so if you have not yet paid your membership fees, please do so you can enjoy the benefits of being a club member.
BETTY’S BURGERS
Thank you to Betty’s Burgers who came to Manly Nippers last Sunday and handed out a bucket hat and a voucher for a free burger to all nippers that attended on the day. Brucie has a few hats left if you missed out.
There will be more vouchers coming throughout the season from our friends at Betty’s Burgers.
If you have not yet completed your proficiency for this season, below are a list of dates that are remaining for you to complete. Please remember you need to register online though your Surf Life Saving Members Portal and complete the online learning components prior to attending one of these sessions.

ART proficiency is set for the following dates and sessions, please email chiefinstructor@manlylsc.com with your preferred date and time. Note each session does have a max of 5 candidates so please get in quick, you will be advised if the session is full and offered an alternative time.

This does cost about $350 and you are required to be a member of a Surf Life Saving club, the below link to their jot form for registration outlines all information and requirements very clearly.If you would like to complete, please register with them. SURF SPORTS
The Surf Sports season is starting to ramp up. Last weekend saw the first round of Surf Life Saving Sydney Northern Beaches Fast Fives at North Curl Curl SLSC. We had some good numbers attend and saw some great racing from our team!
Also last weekend was the Summer of Surf World Cup held at Woolgoolga. Manly was represented by Georgia, Ella, Tilla and Lachie. It was a great first hist out with some strong results from all.
