BOARD STORAGE ANNOUNCEMENT
Audit is underway due to:
•losing 20 spaces overall
•allocation for new juniors
•allocation for 12 x ‘general member use’ boards
•large amount of derelict unsafe boards
*ACTION REQUIRED*
•Low usage boards:
Some members have already removed, donated, or those that are unsafe and damaged are out the back next to the bin.
If you have a low usage board stored at the club, sorry to say but you will need to remove your board by Saturday 15th Oct if you intend to keep it.
- High usage boards:
I need you to supply me your rack number and location as with the introduction of the new racks upstairs numbers did change.
PLEASE message or email ASAP.
*NEW GENERAL USE BOARDS*
6 new bennett boards have been purchased and with another 6 good condition used boards will be available for members to use freely so nobody will go without a board to use.
*NEW RACK NUMBER TAGS*
Blue ‘cattle tags’ are on order and all racks will be clearly numbered within the next couple of weeks – rack numbers will change completely.

MEMBERSHIP CARDS
Membership Cards for the 2022/23 season have arrived and can be collected from the office. Thank you to our Sponsors that have provided us with some wonderful discounts and benefits.
PROFICIENCY
If you have not yet completed your proficiency for this season, below are list of dates that are remaining for you to complete. Please remember you need to register online through your Surf Life Saving members portal, and complete the online learning components prior to attending one of these sessions.

This Saturday 15th October we also have an IRC Proficiency. At present we do not have many registered to attend. Please log into your members portal and book into one of the 3 sessions to complete your proficiency.
LIFESAVING COMPETITION TEAM
Are You interested in joining Manly’s Lifesaving competition team this season, or keen to find out more about what’s involved?
Come along to our information night at the clubhouse on Thursday October 20 at 7pm. Lifesaving Events include Champion Lifesaver, Patrol Comp or First Aid Competition.
Manly holds a long, successful history with these events, which combine physical and theory disciplines and can be entered by competitors of all skill and fitness levels from Under14’s through to Masters!
COOLANGATTA GOLD
Good Luck to all our Manly competitors that are competing in the Gruelling Coolangatta Gold, whether you are doing Long Course, Short Course, Team or the Youth Challenge, we can not wait to hear how you went and to see some pics of the sky blue in action.
YOGA
Yoga is on Thursday mornings from 6-7 am upstairs in the Hall. If you would like to stretch, improve well being and enjoy the ocean vista. $10 cash on the day!
