With the sun shining all weekend and the temperatures rising, the beach is sure to busy. If you can spare anytime over the weekend it would be greatly appreciated by all.

In less than a month (17-18 December) Manly is hosting the next round of the Kellogs Nutrigrain series. All of your favourite athletes including our own Kendrick Louis and former Manly members, Naomi Scott and Emily Doyle will be competing. Watch out for details of a Nipper event on Friday 16th December at 4pm where there will be an opportunity for Manly Nippers to meet and train with their Nutri grain idols!

Please join us for a fun Sunday afternoon with 2 free drinks per member, food and music! Friends and Family invited.

Thank you to all members that have provided photos for our ‘Members born Overseas’ poster. We have had a fantastic response. It was not surprising to see that we have members from every ‘corner’ of the globe including: Russia, Zimbabwe, Belgium, Denmark, Egypt and Lebanon!

If you have not yet completed your proficiency for this season, there is now only one more date left! Please remember you need to register online through your members portal and complete the online components prior to attending the session. We can not run random ones in December, so this is your last chance!

Manly Masters team have done it again winning the Freshie Masters Carnival. The tam had some strong performances and we are able to claim overall victory over some strong teams from North Bondi, Bondi, Palm Beach, Freshie, Cronulla and Newport.

Rachel Kember won the dash for cash after catching a gigantic wave! The Great Dane, Ronnie Dalsgaard was a valiant second in the men.

This Saturday Manly will be sending a team of 35to the Wanda Tradies One carnival that is also a 5000 point round of the Summer of Surf Series. Our team consisting of Nippers to Opens will compete in a full carnival program. We wish all competing the best of luck and look forward to hearing your results.

It’s time to enter the Cole Classic 2023! With multiple distance options, why not make this your time to give it a go or maybe try the next distance. Entries are now open at www.coleclassic.com.au 

This event is a key fundraiser for the club and we look forward to your support to spread the word and also to volunteer to ensure another successful year of the race. Put the date in your diary Sunday 5th February 2023.

Did you know that members and public can hire the Club Hall for corporate events, fundraisers, parties, wakes and exercise classes. Members receive discounted hire rates. Email functions@manlylsc.com for available dates and our very reasonable prices for your next event.

We encourage you to pick up your 2022/23 membership card from the office or your Patrol Captain.

The Wharf Bar Manly Beach is a major sponsor of our club and members receive a 20% discount on presentation of the card.
