SLSNSW has recently reviewed and updated our Lifesaving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). In consultation with the Branch Directors of Lifesaving, we have now moved to an electronic format only for this document. This will allow us greater flexibility in undertaking more frequent and responsive reviews of the various SOPs without needing to wait the previous 2-3 year time-frame to review the printed document.
This review was undertaken by a number of small working parties focusing on specific content areas, a log of changes is included at the back of the document. There will be further review of other sections of the SOPs for release later next year.
