If you are Bronze qualified and coming back to Surf Lifesaving having had a break for a few years you can regain your proficiency by doing an In Depth Proficiency course. These are facilitated by SLS Sydney Northern Beaches. This will re-qualify you as a Patrolling Member and allow you to join us back on Patrol.
Those proficient within the last 3-5 years can normally attend an in-depth proficiency.
Those whose awards expired more than 5 years ago will most likely need to attend a full Bronze course.
If you have recently completed a Provide First Aid certificate, (perhaps for work or school) it may be possible to recognise that prior learning.
