Sadly, the Club lost one of its long standing members and boat rowers, Bernie McCarthy
The funeral will be held on Friday 14 October 2022 at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Manly and afterwards at the Skiff Club.
YOUTH LEADERSHIP
We are looking for youth members at the club who would be interested in attending the SLSA National Leadership College (NLC) Age 20-30
What is the NLC? It is an annual leadership and development program recognising young leaders in Surf Life Saving. It provides an exciting opportunity for young people within the movement to further develop their leadership skills and continue to positively contribute to SLS.
When: 29 January – 4 February 2023
Where: Sydney Harbour YHA
Who: Participants must be a minimum of 20 years of age and a maximum of 30 years on 1 February 2023

If you have not yet completed your proficiency for this season, below are list of dates that are remaining for you to complete. LIFESAVING COMPETITION TEAM
Are You interested in joining Manly’s Lifesaving competition team this season, or keen to find out more about what’s involved?
Come along to our information night at the clubhouse on Thursday October 20 at 7pm. Lifesaving Events include Champion Lifesaver, Patrol Comp or First Aid Competition.
Manly holds a long, successful history with these events, which combine physical and theory disciplines and can be entered by competitors of all skill and fitness levels from Under14’s through to Masters!
SKI TRAILERS
Both trailers are required for the Coolangatta Gold coming up. If you have any craft on these trailers, can you please ensure they are removed by 9:00am on Wednesday October 12th.
