In-house courses are held from time to time throughout  the season to enhance the skills of our volunteer lifesavers. You must be a financial member and register to undertake a course.

Below is a list of courses that we offer throughout the season with an outline of the course and pre-requisites surrounding the course.

Once a course is available you will be able to register on this page below the course you would like to complete.

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR BRANCH DUTY OFFICERS

For those interested Branch have put out for expressions of interest for applications for Branch Duty Officers. Please contact me on chiefinstructor@manlylsc.com for further information.

The minimum requirements are;

  • SLSA Bronze Medallion
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • ARTC
  • Silver Medallion Basic Beach Management with a minimum of 5 years as Patrol Captain
  • Class C Drivers License

SRC TO BRONZE COURSE

We will be running and SRC – Bronze Course commencing on the 26th Ocotber with the assessment to be held on Thursday 19th November and Saturday 21st November. Sessions will be held on a Monday Night 6-8:30pm (dry) and Sunday afternoons 2-4:30pm (wet)
