Candidates train in groups twice a week for approximately six (6) weeks. We normally run dry sessions on a weekday evening and wet sessions at weekends. Members who hold this award join our weekend patrol teams and can also act as water safety personnel for Surf Life Saving events. Proficiency in this award must be renewed each year by attending a 2hr proficiency session (these are run in Sept/Oct)
