MEMBER PROFILE Sybil Walsh

One of our newest patrol members is truly inspirational.

Sybil Walsh gained her Bronze Medallion at 66yrs of age in December 2007 making her the oldest female to obtain the award in Australia during the 07/08 season.

Sybil went on to gain her ARC in April 2008 and has represented Manly LSC in the beach sprint, winning gold at East Coast Masters; gold at Branch and a 4^th at State (at each of the latter, Sybil had to compete in the 55-59 year age group)!

She has already performed rescues whilst on patrol, assisted with visiting tour groups and volunteers many hours in the Museum - well done Sybil!
